Industrial air curtains ELiS G are especially powerful: they provide for a strong flow of air and, thereby, form an effective air barrier blocking ingress of outdoor air, smog, insects and dust into the premises, as well as preventing draughts. These powerful air curtains are intended for use in industrial facilities: they can be mounted horizontally over large entry gates (at the height of as many as 7 m) or vertically – along the side of an entry gate. For installation on both sides, the maximum width of an entry gate can reach 13 m. The design of the air curtains ELiS G allows connecting individual modules one to another to form an air barrier of required length. An unlimited number of modules can be connected both horizontally and vertically.

Principle of operation: the air from the intake is preheated by electric heating element, then, axial-flow fans blow it out at a high speed through air-directional vanes (adjustable at ± 10° intervals). The flow fans have IP54 protection class – they are protected against dust and water splashes. The casing of industrial air curtains ELiS G is made from galvanized, corrosion-resistant, heavy duty steel. The operation of an air curtain can be controlled with the help of a magnetic door contact or thermostatic control valve.

Additional options for ordering ELiS G:

The unit can be provided with IP66 flow fans;

The company is engaged in designing, manufacture and installation of various type aluminum-glass structures and ventilated claddings. The company tends to invest in the most advanced production equipment, innovative technologies, it also takes care of its employees. The company’s warehouse has a vertical lift gate 4.5 m wide and 4 m tall. The gate is lifted up each time products need to be loaded, raw materials are delivered, etc. The usual inside temperature is 18°C. In winter time, the people working close to the gate were subject to much discomfort as, because of the gate going up and down, cold outdoor air used to get into the premises, meanwhile, the inside air used to “run out”; forming draughts and cold air flows. All this could be felt within the distance of 20 m away from the gate.
The problem was solved with the help of the industrial air curtain ELIS G. The powerful air curtain ELIS G installed horizontally at the height of 4 m provides for a strong flow of air downwards and creates an effective air screen: protects the warehouse premises against cold air flows from the outside, also draughts. The employees working close to the gate feel much more comfortable which facilitates proper performance of their job duties. The main advantage of a horizontal air curtain is the fact that a curtain mounted above a doorway draws in warm air accumulating just below the ceiling and blows it downwards.
